The album was one of three released by the band in 1976, during a time when they continued to be the backing band of choice of some of Ghana’s biggest and most famous musicians all while recording their own albums.
Vis-a-Vis was a prominent Ghanaian band that rose to fame in the 1970s and 1980s. They were pioneers in the Afrobeat and highlife music scene in West Africa. The band was formed in Kumasi, Ghana, in the early 1970s, and they quickly gained popularity for their unique blend of highlife, funk, and Afrobeat rhythms.
