The bowl, when pinged with your finger, has a gorgeous sound to it. This bowl's sides are thick-just over 1/4". The top of the bowl has 3 scalloped (rounded) edges. The sides have a fan like pattern. This is not pressed glass. There is one small chip on the base as seen in my last photo-it does not show unless looking at the bottom. Other than the small chip, the bowl is in great vintage condition.
The bowl measures 5-1/2" High (at highest point) x 7-15/16" Wide at the top
This is a heavy, thick glass bowl.
